Explore how to work with your photographic images on a larger scale with
the wide format ink-jet printer. In this half day workshop, you will
explore the process on a few smaller prints then print one four-square
foot piece of paper-backed silk.

This class is designed to help you find your voice and begin to say something with your textile work. Through directed exercises, explorations and creative problem solving, you will begin to discover new ways of expression. Explore how to incorporate language, images and metaphor and learn a few new skills to assist you on your journey. Level: Intermediate to advanced.

In this one day workshop, you will explore how to transform those household textiles into personally expressive artwork through simple techniques of photo transfer, collage and stitched embellishments. So hit the weekend sales to find those linen treasures and begin your search for interesting images to transfer. A kit including practice cloth, papers and transfer materials is provided with fee.
